Asian Noodle Salad

1 lb. spaghetti

2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1/4 cup corn oil
1/2 cup sesame oil

6 tablespoons honey
5 tablespoons soy sauce

• 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
• 3/4 chopped peanuts
• 1/2 cup chopped green onions
• 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, sprinkled on top

  1. Cook spaghetti al dente, drained, then rinsed with cold water to stop the cooking.
  2. Place the crushed red pepper, corn oil and sesame oil in a frying pan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.
  3. Mix together: spaghetti, pepper mixture, honey, and soy sauce.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
  5. When ready to serve, add remaining ingredients.
Serves 8-10 people as a main course, many more as a side.

Note: If doubling or tripling this recipe, the crushed red pepper should not be doubled
or tripled. Add maybe half again as much or more to taste. It will get very spicy if
increased along with the other ingredients.
